Chinese Porcelain Hand Painted Bird & Flowers Large Vase With Poem. Lovely old Chinese hand painted porcelain flower famille with peacock vase. This is a stunning piece with very vibrant colors. The tall vase has a beautiful pheonix with fowers in front, and the poem is written at the back. In fine original condition, free off chips small amount of gilled loss on handles. This piece is not marked. I try to accurately assess the condition of each item. I get my description information through research and other collector’s opinions. S&H Derby Signed F Schofield Hand Painted Birds Demitasse Cup & Saucer. Antique British bone china demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink, blue and orange birds. With gold gilding along the signed. Signed by the artist F. Marked on the bottom with the Stevenson & Hancock S H D mark in red. This mark was used between 1861 and 1935. Has some wear to the gilding, some crazing typical of British porcelain, and two small in manufacture firing separations to the foot rim of the cup, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide. This may be an antique and as such may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

Mid Century French Decorative Hand Painted Porcelain Faience Birdcage withBirds

Midcentury Circa 1960 French Decorative Hand Painted Hand Crafted Ceramic Faience Birdcage made in France. The cage stands on scroll feet over a scalloped apron decorated with foliage motif. The roof is dressed with a brass hook and sits on a four-side rectangular body. The inside features a porcelain parakeet birds sitting on an oak branch. The cage is marked on the bottom. Height 15″ (without hook), body width 9″ (10″ on the bottom), body depth 7″ (bottom 8). Light wear consistent with age and use (light crazing, mainly on the bottom, a little bit on the body). You may need to secure the dowel rods to the birdcage to keep the birds straight otherwise the birds will spin. (That’s the way the birdcage was manufactured). Please check pictures for condition.
