This piece is hand-signed and numbered 9/500, with original Italian maker labels intact on the base. A large, finely detailed work with strong form, lifelike coloration, and excellent surface preservation. The sculpture depicts a macaw perched on a naturalistic tree trunk base. The modeling shows high attention to feather texture, anatomical accuracy, and layered hand-applied coloration. This example presents in near-mint to mint condition with no damage, no repairs, and no losses observed. Original labels confirm Italian origin and authenticity. Medium: Hand-painted ceramic sculpture. Edition: Limited edition, numbered 9 of 500. Signature: Hand-signed “Cacciapuoti” on base. Height: 17 1/4 inches. Up For Consideration: Antique Chinese Hand Painted Porcelain Bird Figurine Multicolor Ceramic 17 RARE! Pre-owned, well cared for Chinese marked (red seal mark on bottom of porcelain ceramic bird) Is associated with Qianlong or Jiaqing Emperor periods. Marked with original price tag. This piece stands appx: 17 inches tall with its erect head-feathers. Beautifully designed and quality crafted, the colors are striking. The hand-painted work is clearly visible to the eye. The patina and grazing are also an asset to the collection. There may be some slight discoloration or kiln roughness from the glazing. Overall, this rare piece of Chinese Porcelain ceramic, marked with red square stamp. It will sit proudly in any serious Chinese collection in your home or office.
