This mid-century German porcelain kingfisher figurine represents one of the finest expressions of postwar European animalier porcelain. Produced by Karl Ens at the Volkstedt manufactory and identified as model no. No chips, cracks, hairlines, or restorations observed. The porcelain body is clean and structurally sound. Glaze remains bright and well-preserved with strong color saturation and no fading. Overall condition is appropriate for high-level collector presentation. Makers Marks are in perfect condition. The underside bears the green windmill factory mark of Karl Ens Volkstedt, along with impressed model number and a traditional pierced firing hole, consistent with mid-century Volkstedt production.
