RARE WILLIAM MADDUX Pottery Porcelain DOUBLE BLUE BIRDS FIGURINE Vase Collectible! William Maddux California Audubon Collectible signed “WM MADDUX”. William Maddux was famous for his bird figures in the 1930s – 1950s, and the company was later called Maddux of California. 6″ L x 5″ W x 6.75 H. Item is in pre-owned condition with very little wear for its age! There are 2 small pin-sized holes on underside of birds (see photos) that may have been created in the design process and crazing (please zoom in and view all pictures). There is a tiny white scuff at the corner of the feathered tail of one bird – not noticeable except upon close inspection. The gorgeous colors in this piece somehow survived all these years! Antique Rare Hand Painted Chinese Porcelain Parrot Parakeet Figurine Pair 6.5

Antique Rare Hand Painted Chinese Porcelain Parrot Parakeet Figurine Pair 6.5. Both pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Research suggests they are from the early 1900’s. One has a little brown spot on the base of the branch it is sitting on. There is some wear to the paint which is to be expected due to their age. They are exactly the same but one has a shinier sheen on the branch. They both have something inscribed on the base, but it’s hard to say what it says. It almost looks like tally marks.
