Late 19th century Chinese export. Porcelain figure of a hawk. Well modeled and glazed all-over in a brilliant turquoise blue, the bird of prey perch upon rocky outcrop, with head turned. He gazes intently outwards, beak open in a triumphant screech. DIMENSIONS: H 15.25 in x W 10.5 in x D 5.5 in. H 38.74 cm x W 26.67 cm x D 13.97 cm. CONDITION: Overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
