These Chinese porcelain birds are just stunning pieces. The turquoise colour of the birds and the manganese colour of the crest/base brings out a fabulous appearance of these items. HoHo bird comes from the mythical Japanese version of Phoenix. The bird was said to bring luck, good fortune, symbolising longetivity, wisdom. The birds are in good condition, no visible damage on them and both have impressed marks to their bases.

Chinese Qing Dynasty Porcelain Bird 18th 19th Cent Yellow Green Brown. Approx size 170mm tall. This item is 125+ years old and is in very good condition for its age, No obvious signs of damage or chips. Glaze does not go right to the base at part. Does have some minor imperfections and usual marks you get with an older ceramic. We are unable to advise on this extra costs and are not responsible for the extra charges. This exquisite vase is a true piece of history. Made in Japan in the mid to late Meiji period, it features a stunning ombre red totai cloisonne design with intricate bird details. It has a stunning elongated silhouette and extremely well made. Its antique originality adds to its charm and makes it a unique addition to any collection. It is in good condition and measures. 14 1/2 inches tall by 4 inches wide. There are a couple surface tips on the bottom edge as seen in last photos. A porcelain famille rose vase decorated with birds and flowers. The vase is made in China and dates from the 20th century (1970s-1980s). At the bottom, the vase is marked with a Chinese seal (Qianlong mark). Dimensions: Height: 35,1cm Diameter mouth: 16,2cm Diameter bottom: 15,3cm Condition: The vase is in a very good condition. At the inside of the mouth, there are several baking flaws. No damages or restorations found (UV checked). Every item we sell has been carefully checked for any damages and restorations. We make use of UV light to check this properly.
