This beautiful Karl Ens Volkstedt porcelain figurine is a vintage piece from Germany, manufactured in 1945. The figurine features a colorful design of birds of paradise, hand-painted with a glossy finish. Measuring 10 inches in height and 5 inches in width, it is a perfect addition to any collection of decorative pottery and glassware. The item is an original, studio-crafted piece with a printed backstamp and is handmade. It is a great representation of mid-20th-century art and will make a great conversation starter in any room. Please see pictures as part of description as one tail feather is broken off, a chip on the top of the feather to the right of the broken feather and there are chips on the underside of the fan feathers as seen in photos.

You are purchasing a beautiful vintage German Dresden porcelain figurine of two parakeets (or parrots) perched on a branch with flowers. It is was made by Wilhelm Rittirsch and is very reminiscent of bird figurines by Karl Ens, see last photo. It is in amazing condition with no chips, cracks or breaks, see all photos. The green and pink colors are way prettier in person. It is a very impressive figurine. It measures approximately 6 5/8″ tall x 8″ long x 4 1/2 wide (green bird’s wings span) and weighs 1lb 2.2oz unpacked. Please contact me prior to purchasing with any questions.

It has been well-preserved & has an antique finish that adds to its charm. Has an Underside Stamp with the mark of the letters E. Any errors are accidental and not purposeful in nature.
