MARVELOUS ANTIQUE PORCELAIN EAGLE ON BASE. OVERALL 8 INCHES TALL. SAID BY ORIGINAL OWNER TO BE MADE AROUND 1880. CANNOT VERIFY, BUT THE SF DEALER WAS HIGHLY REPUTABLE!! WE HAVE OWNED SINCE THE MID-1960S. THE PICTURES TELL THE STORY!! ORIGINAL HAND PAINTING TOTALLY INTACT. I CANNOT IDENTIFY THE MAKERS MARK. I WAS TOLD LIKELY GERMANY OR BAVARIA. EQUAL TO THE BEST HUTCHENREUTHER PIECES. HATE TO PART WITH SUCH A TREASURE, BUT TIMES ARE TOUGH??
Richard Klemm Dresden 2 demitasse cups with eagle/ bird head handles & saucer

2-ornate porcelain demitasse cups with unique eagle head handles and one matching saucer – made in Dresden Germany by Richard Klemm. Interestingly, the eagle head handles were used only for special more luxurious occasions. These gorgeous pieces are in surprisingly good condition. Only noted flaw is a small chip around the rim of one cup. It can only be felt, not obvious to the eye. There is also moderate fading of the gold accents of the handle as seen in the pictures. These are hard to part with!
