Antique Vintage Chinese TANG Style Majolica Pottery. A beautiful vibrant tri-colored Antique/Vintage. Chinese hand-painted emerald green & yellow parrot candle holder. Other than a base edge scrape (see enlarged photo #10) the items is in Wonderful Condition! Measurements are 9 1/2 Tall, 9 Long, 3 3/4 Wide across the base. Parrot Weight: 2 lb 5.6 oz. I tried to research the age of this item but it was hard to pin point. The ages ranged between 1880 – 1920. Thus, I labeled it Antique/ Vintage. Symbolism in Chinese art of feng shui, the parrot is a powerful symbol of opportunity and the bearer of good news. It draws positive energy while keeping away the negative.
