7 Meissen Porcelain Figure of Boy with Birds Nest Model F68. It was designed by Johann Carl Schönheit and was produced very finely within manufactory. It is an item out of the series Gardening Childs. Johann Carl Schönheit designed this figurine around 1777. This is marked with a first quality Meissen blue crossed swords mark circa late 19th century and the model number F68. Height: 7.3 in – 18.5 cm. Crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed Models F68. Condition: overall very good antique condition. No chips or cracks. Please see the photos as part of the description. SMALL MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF BIRD ON BRANCH, 19TH CENTURY. It is unique in the fact that it has Blue crossed swords, incised model number, incised modeler number and the painter’s number. There is another mark there that I cannot make out. Height measures approximately 2 1/4 inches tall. Repair work on tail. It could be before 1850. Provenance : This was my mother’s.
