This beautiful matching pair of antique Chinese porcelain Famille Rose Birds of Paradise statues are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The dynasty mark is on the underside of both statues. They are 16 high. I bought them from a personal source in China. They are from my own personal collection. Wonderful 19thC Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Bird Statue. This wonderful Chinese famille rose statue ism in the form of a colorful bird perched on a nice base with open work. It dates from the 19th Century and measures approximately 7 + 7/8 inches at its highest point and 3 + ½ inches at the widest point of the base. Rare Antique Chinese Biscuit Glazed Porcelain Figure Of Birds On Rocks & Foo Dog

RARE ANTIQUE CHINESE BISCUIT GLAZED PORCELAIN FIGURE OF BIRDS ON ROCKS & FOO DOG. Up for sale is a fabulous rare antique Chinese biscuit glazed porcelain figure depiciting two birds on rock with a foo dog underneath. It is painted with aubergine and turquiose enamels. Circa Kangxi or Yongzheng period (17-18th century). Please see photos below for more details. Measurements: The figure measures approximately 17 cm with base of 7 cm by 5.5 cm. Condition: As shown in the last several photos; there are a few small nibs but otherwise it is in very good antique condition with normal wear and commensurate with age and use. Stunning Antique Vion & Baury Large Bisque Statue Set Lady withJug & Man with Birds

Stunning PAIR of RARE, very Large size 19th Century Antique French Bisque Statues. Antique VION & Baury Hand Painted Bisque Statues with Green Anchor Mark. Beautiful barefoot Lady with water jug & Fine Gentleman with doves birds on his arm Bisque is unglazed porcelain which displays just like carved marble and allow to reach better quality and stunning detail. 26.5 She stands approx. She appears to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. I found spot under her apron (refer to photos) that appears to be original to the piece but could be a repair? I don’t believe its a repair, please refer to photos for details. He is in overall wonderful condition. One of the birds wings has been professionally repaired in a type of plastic resin – the same wing was snapped off again and glued with visible seam & minor flea bit paint loss on tip (refer to photos) I can detect no other flaws or blemishes. These are HEAVY, Large Substantial Statues. Jean Gille/Vion & Charles Baury are the founders of the Rue de Paradis-Poissonniere Factory of France in about 1845. They made figurines, statues, dinnerware, and decorative items. Vion and Baury, along with someone named Poyard (possibly faience artist Charles Poyard) were the successors to Jean-Marie Gille’s porcelain factory in Paris when Gille died in 1868. The partnership with Poyard lasted but a few years. Vion and Baury continued to operate the factory until the mid 1870’s when a new factory was opened in Choisy-le-Roi. Baury died in 1879 and Vion continued with the business. In 1880 the factory was expanded and went bankrupt in 1889. I take great care and time to package items carefully and securely. KANGXI antique chinese famille rose bird statue porcelain pottery vtg art bowl

After years of research this appears to be the ONLY example of this form. Strongly suggesting it is a one-up from the early 1700s (Kangxi period). Do your research, there is NOTHING else like this out there! Aquarium for Chinese Box Turtles. When filled with about a 1/2 of water the 3 lotus blossoms become’islands’ for the small aquatic turtles to climb, play & rest. The Imperial yellow interior wall stands 2 tall and is decorated with floral & fauna (Chinese box turtle food). Rose famille was introduced in 1720. It is signed on the bottom-center with a traditional squared-off Chinese mark but the signature is no longer readable. 100% hand pottered, hand incised and hand painted. Measures just under 14″ across the rim and stands 3″ high. Or Parcel Post for large or heavy packages.
