This elegant and classic, iconic American eagle figure is finely and intricately crafted and detailed by Lenox, an American company founded in 1889 and still in business! The figure was commissioned by the Smithsonian Institution and depicts a majestic and mighty eagle perched up on a rocky formation, with its’ wings wide open and ready to take flight. The figure is marked on the bottom with the Lenox and Smithsonian marks. Figure presents beautifully and is in excellent vintage condition, with very minimal display wear and patina and no chips or cracks.
