Italian Porcelain Hand-Painted Exotic Bird Sculpture. From the House of Goebel in Italy (label on felted bottom). This Exotic bird is perched on a gold branch with shell shaped porcelain leaves. And has a long bill with plumage in shades of purple, teal and magenta. The bird statue with gilt feet is approx. 11 high with base. Overall very good condition except 2 chipped leaves, pictures 11 & 12 bottom leave & leave above it. THANK YOU very much for your order! Vtg 15 Mid-Century Tay Great Horned Owl Statue Figurine Italian Italy Painted

A large, vintage great horned owl statue! It is stamped on the back as being made in Italy and it looks to be signed, most likely by “Tay”, it’s a bit hard to read. Relisted due to a cancelled sale. No noted breaks, cracks or chips! There’s some “roughness” at end of ears, but doesn’t seem to be broken there. I don’t see any crazing, but it’s possible there are small spots of it. The felt bottom has a tear and is lifting up a little nearby. Comes exactly as shown, please view photos! MEASUREMENTS: Whole piece measures approximately 15 tall. It’s about 7″ wide at furthest points and 12″ front-to-back. Carrier available to your zip code than what is listed first. Has one broken leaf on the front (see pic 8 above) it is hardly noticeable but you could dismantle the lamp, turn the statue around and then the front would display as perfect. Wood base could use a fresh coat of paint. Full size table lamp. Stands 29″ tall 14″ to top of bird statuette.
