S&H Derby Signed F Schofield Hand Painted Birds Demitasse Cup & Saucer. Antique British bone china demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink, blue and orange birds. With gold gilding along the signed. Signed by the artist F. Marked on the bottom with the Stevenson & Hancock S H D mark in red. This mark was used between 1861 and 1935. Has some wear to the gilding, some crazing typical of British porcelain, and two small in manufacture firing separations to the foot rim of the cup, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide. This may be an antique and as such may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

This is a lovely antique 18th century Chinese porcelain charger dating from the Yongzheng or Qianlong period, with a nice garden scene and two birds. Approximate Size: 12.5 diameter (31.75 cm). Condition: There is a repaired chip in the lower right, and a light hairline emanating from the chip that crosses most of the plate. Some small fleabites on the footrim. Thank you for looking.
