Nice bottle form vase decorated with colorful enamel scene of birds and flowering tree. The vases are well potted and the decoration and glaze is well done. Original Period Augarten Porcelain Sparrow Bird Figure Figurine Porzellan Wien

A figurine of a baby sparrow made by Augarten during its original period in the early 20th century. It is 2 inches tall, 2.625 inches wide and 3.625 inches long. The bird is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, an impressed letter F, impressed model number 1612 and a black number 18. Meiji Period 19th C. Antique Japanese Kutani Porcelain Pottery Bird Statue Lamp

The bird is made out of a thick vividly colored high quality enamel glaze. The feathers are painted realistically and have gilded details. His bird is exceptionally detailed compared to most Kutani porcelain birds of the same age. The new owner should be proud to own a one of a kind Kutani porcelain bird lamp. This is a large and heavy lamp. Overall, the porcelain bird lamp is in. This is a pre-owned antique item, therefore, some gilt is fading and there are light scratches on the porcelain.
