For consideration is an impressive Japanese black enamel porcelain Bird of Paradise floral and avian vase. Dating to the 1930s, this is an impressive Japanese porcelain that’s large in size with truly exceptional coloring. Standing approximately 14″ in height and measuring 7″ at its widest with a 5 diameter opening, the vase is a substantial one and is quite heavy at nearly 8 pounds. Artistically painted by hand depicting a pair of vividly colored exotic birds perched on a flowering tree branch against a deep ebony ground decorated with assorted flowers and butterflies. You’ll find this porcelain in beautiful vintage condition free of chips, cracks, crazing, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections.
