Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely antique porcelain hand painted bird figurine mounted on bronze base. Brightly colored with yellow chest, white face with the back of the head being red with green and yellow and dark blue back and tail feathers. This stunning bird is perched on a white tree trunk shaped pedestal which is mounted on a bronze base. The base has an old repair on the interior that shows slightly on exterior of base (see photos). The porcelain bird figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. We did not remove it from the base to determine if it is signed, however, the quality if excellent and it was probably made by one of the better porcelain makers in the 19th Century. Measures 6 3/4″ high, 5″ wide and 2 3/4″ deep with the bronze base being 3 3/4″ in diameter, Weighs 1.2 pounds. The bronze base is numbered “426” with stamp (although illegible and unidentified).
