The brand is Fukagawa Seiji – also known as Fukagawa Porcelain. “Seiji” means “porcelain” in Japanese. Fukagawa Seiji was founded in the late 1800s in Arita, Japan. NOTE:::::. It is one of the most respected porcelain makers in Japan and was appointed as an official purveyor to the Imperial Household – a rare and prestigious honor. Condition: Excellent – no chips, cracks, or repairs. Era: Likely mid-20th century. Measures: 11 tall by 4 inch wide. Material: Fine Japanese porcelain. An impressive Japanese Meiji period circa 1900 Arita blue and white ribbed porcelain vase. Decorated with dragon head grips and panels to the neck along with a bird surrounded by flora to the body. Height: 44.5 cm – Weight: 4450 g. In fantastic condition with no chips or cracks. An antique Japanese Kutani bird figurine atop a tree stump. Note the colorful art work and original gold gilding decoration as well as delicate openness at the legs and tree stump. This was from the collection of James Galley, a well-respected Orientalia Antique Dealer from the Philadelphia PA areapurchased many years ago by my consigner/customer from his estate. Unsigned, original antique vendors store sticker present. Other antique and vintage hand painted china, art glass and pottery is available by viewingIndy Lane Antiques. Measures a full 11 3/8 inches tall. Triangular base measures approximately 5 ¾ inch by 5 ½ inch by 5 ¼ inch. Weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces unboxed. Condition is excellent as there are NO chips, cracks, scratches, internal staining, crazing, broken or repaired parts present. 99% original gold gilding decoration present.
