1970s Large 25 TROUBLE MAKERS Fu Lu Shou Chinese Porcelain Ceramic Statues

The detail and hand painting on these is the nicest Ive ever seen on a set this size. Look at intricate detail in their eyes and facial features that arent cartoonish like so many of these are. Someone put some thought and a lot of time in to hand painting these. Theres a total of 5 children that theres no denying who the father is. The resemblance of each child to the wiseman holding them is obvious. I got these with several old pieces stones and gemstones along with jade carvings and a jade Nephrite scholars stone from a collector of high end Chinese antiques in the 1970s. Ill be listing these and several other antique Chinese and Japanese pieces later. Blow up the pictures and compare the exceptional detail and hand painting to any of the other porcelain sets that are nowhere near this quality. Shou is part bisque with eyebrows made from white glass. His child is also part bisque. Its almost impossible to find the wisemen holding both open scrolls with children like these. Almost all of them that are holding children have closed scrolls. The tallest one is right at 25 tall. There in mint condition except for the beak on the stork thats broke. Ive shown a close up of the beak in the last picture. If you have any questions please ask. Chinese Famille Porcelain Shou Lao God Statue. Im note to sure of Antique or Vintage I never removed the base. Its an intricate detailed statue with many vibrant colors. Please take notice of pictures missing pieces such as 1 (L) finger. A piece of tassel around the neck and down by the on the side by the (R) foot also some small areas of paint missing. Chinese Famille Rose Immortal Scholar / Elder Figure. Hand painted wonderful detail vibrant color. Holding a peach with finely carved delicate fingers, in his other hand a staff and gold vessel, a crane by his side. China mark on hollow hand molded base. Measurements: 13.5″ h x 6″ w x 4 deep. Condition: Good for it’s age, some imperfections primarily to the back, see photos. No damage to the delicate fingers. Base has residue from protective covering. Antique 19th C. Chinese Famille Porcelain Buddha Statue God Shou Lao Figure Rare

A beautiful, stunningly hand painted, enamelled, totally hollow, famille rose figure of Shou Lao God of Longevity. The CHINA stamp in RED Underneath in its formation Dates this statue as an 19th Century Piece at minimum. “CHINA” marks were first used in the 1890s on export porcelain. This exact red close together lettered CHINA stamp is depicted in gotheborg records. This statue could be older maybe Late 1800’s just received the china stamp once at export or during travel we are not sure of the exact reading of the impressed mark but it is well pressed for sure. We have dated this statue in respects to the aged porcelain, coloration, attributes found on old make pieces and the obvious CHINA mark. Looking closer at this vessel life pours from within a plant can be seen growing or sprouting up from its top as done naturally from the ground even more longevity wow. All of these sacred and well known attributes are attached with a blue ribbon that wraps and seemingly flows around the God. Standing atop a colorful stone surrounding colorful water enamelled and splashed lovely indeed. Iron reds, blue, green, pink and that lovely yellow these colors really stand out as a whole on this statue. This statue is very unique as it carries most of God Shou Lao’s Well known attributes as in many other cases one or a few may be left out, once again he is depicted with his staff, the bird, the vase or vessel and peach. This Handmade Statue towers in height compared to many others standing 14″ tall x W-6″ (at widest from left to right side of bird) x 4 1/2 Bottom Side base Width there is some proper wear with age. Slight paint wear and scratches but all minor overall this statue is in great condition looking at the pictures verifys this. The item “Antique 19th C.
