Vintage 17 Pair Chinoiserie Handpainted Porcelain Phoenix Statues by WBI. Exquisite and Majestic Pair of Vintage Hand Painted Porcelain Statues Featuring the Mythological Ethereal Bird “Feng Huang” also referred to as the Chinese Phoenix. Feng Huang Originated from the Spirit of the Fire God and Symbolize Harmony and Perfection. “Feng” Represents the Male while “Huang” Represents the Female. Together they are Titled “Feng Huang”. Typically these Birds always Come in Pairs Symbolizing Marriage as Well. This Stunning Pair is Beautifully Detailed and Textured. Features lovely shades of Teal, Lavender, Green, Taupe and Driftwood Gray. Both Birds are in a Perched Stance Displaying their Long Regal Tails.
