A striking pair of handmade Australian ceramic cockatiel sculptures by Studio Australia. Each figure is hand-painted and glazed, modeled perched on a tree-form pedestal. Both bear the printed Studio Australia backstamp and are individually signed “Dawn” beneath the base. Studio Australia was established in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, in 1990 and is known for its handmade Australian bird and animal ceramics. Condition: One cockatiel has a visibly broken/missing section at the top of its crest. Both figures show light surface and base wear consistent with display.
