Beautiful vintage Bescherzer Bavaria hand-painted porcelain bird figurine, standing approximately 7 inches tall. This finely detailed piece features a gray-bodied bird with white wing accents and a bright yellow throat patch, perched on a glossy white base. Marked on the underside with the green Bescherzer Bavaria crest backstamp, dating this piece to approximately the 1930s-1950s. There are some spots of damage. Chip on back of tail that was colored in by previous owner, white scratch under wing, some other small spots of paint loss or small scratches. (Please see photos for documentation of flaws).
