Striking near life-size cockatoo statue, or large figurine, that dates around 1960. Fine crafted porcelain featuring a white bird with subtle pink highlights standing on a branch. A double look may be needed to make sure it’s not real when you first see it in the room! Lovely, collectible, decor piece. About 15-1/2″ high x 6″ wide x 4-1/4 deep. Weighs almost 2 lbs. Base is stamped inside “ROYAL DUX MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA”. And has the raised triangle logo with ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA D. 402 97 is also impressed into the porcelain. There is a tiny flake off the point of one crest feather and a tiny flea bite at the tip of one leaf–neither are noticeable except by feel.
