The 1963 Pair of Royal Worcester Dorothy Doughty Birds featuring Vermilion Flycatchers are exquisite bird sculptures made of fine bone china. The pose is amusing in that they seem wary and are turning around to check things out. Wonderful display items and great for the Interior Design Trade. Vibrantly glazed and finely detailed. Overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age. CONDITION DETAILS: One of the pair has a chip of back claw (photo # 9). H 8.5 in. (9.5 in with wood stand) x W 6 in. X D 4 in.
