FABULOUS piece of art with so much character. Very Large Vintage hand sculpted terracotta bird statue, signed. I think it might be majolica (tin underglaze). We have another terrracotta sculpture by the same artist that was dated 1949. It is approx 12″ tall, 8″ wide and 11 depth. Weighs 16 lbs 5.3 oz. There are pictures with, and without flash to show coloring. Great deep earth tone colors. This is one of those pieces that capture the eye. Please see pictures for details and condition.
