BEAUTIFUL STAFFORDSHIRE COVERED DISH. NESTING HEN AND CHICKS. About 7″ x 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2. Wonderful Staffordshire covered dish / small tureen. Nesting hen with seven full dimensional chicks. Hand painted in reddish brown to white shades. No chips, dings or cracks. Some scattered paint flakes throughout (all visible in the images). A BEAUTIFUL MID 19TH CENTURY STAFFORDSHIRE CHICKEN DISH.

BEAUTIFUL STAFFORDSHIRE COVERED DISH. NESTING HEN AND CHICKS. About 7″ x 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2. Wonderful Staffordshire covered dish / small tureen. Nesting hen with seven full dimensional chicks. Hand painted in reddish brown to white shades. Some scattered glaze flakes and chips. Old repairs to beak, tail and wing feathers. All very tight and nearly invisible, but they’re there (all visible in the images). A BEAUTIFUL MID 19TH CENTURY STAFFORDSHIRE CHICKEN DISH.
