This extraordinary Limited Edition Boehm has been thoroughly inspected, and is found to have absolutely no breaks, chips, or missing pieces! There are no obvious or amateur repairs to this piece. Due to the construction of this piece being porcelain with paste porcelain sculpted accents and metal components (flower stems and nectar shoots), I imagine the manufacturing process was very complicated. As seen in photos, there are small spots of visible adhesive or a missed brushed stroke where these mixed materials are fused. Without any formal record of the fine specifics of how Boehm assembled their works of art, I cannot guarantee whether they are factory original or a result of professional repair. The piece appears overall in pristine, factory condition to us. This extra large piece is a highly sought-after masterpiece, and was produced in very limited numbers. Vivid in color and is simply extraordinary given the extreme fragility of the materials. The sculpture measures 19 ¼” height, approximately 11 ½” max length.
