It is decorated with a traditional blue and white flower motif that originated from Britain in the early 18th century. In ancient China, noble families used similar bowls to protect their pond goldfish from the freezing winter weather. Nowadays, you can use this bowl as a cachepot to provide your plants with a highly decorative place to grow. The planter is adorned with hand-painted bird and flower motifs and sculpted faux lion head handles throughout.
