CONDITION: Excellent, first quality, no defects. Measurements: 5 1/2″ high 5 1/2″ long 3 1/2 wide. This porcelain figure was produced in Germany by Rosenthal about 1942. It is entitled “Kirschkern Bieser” translated means “cherrystone is better”. The bird is beautifully modeled and skillfully hand painted. Coloring is rich and plumage well defined. The two most important factors, defined modeling and quality painting make this figure a highly desirable collectable. The Post Office requires this.
