These Chinese porcelain birds are just stunning pieces. The turquoise colour of the birds and the manganese colour of the crest/base brings out a fabulous appearance of these items. HoHo bird comes from the mythical Japanese version of Phoenix. The bird was said to bring luck, good fortune, symbolising longetivity, wisdom. The birds are in good condition, no visible damage on them and both have impressed marks to their bases.
