An antique Chinese porcelain bird figurine, enameled in iron red with profuse gilt detail, on a sancai glazed “rock” base. I believe it dates to the 18th century. It is in very good condition with some minor glaze flakes on the sancai glazed rocks, as shown. The largest glaze flake is on the top of the rock. Glaze crazing commensurate with age. Please review the images to thoroughly assess condition. The figure measures 13-3/4 inches tall x 5-1/2 inches x 4 inches.
