Antique Derby Pair Goldfinch with Bocage. Stunning pair of Derby Goldfinches with bocage. In soft-paste porcelain painted in enamels, of a goldfinch perched on a tree, made by William Duesbury & Co. 4″H X 3.5″W. Provenance: Prominent private collection. Documentation: Similar pair (without bocages) in possession of the Victoria and Albert Museum, accession No. Condition: Chipping and losses to bocage and flowers, right bird has a tight hairline to neck, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
