This stunning large antique/vintage Dresden Germany figurine is of a couple putting their bird into a birdcage – they are accompanied by their dog and two sheep. He figurine measures approximately 9 inches high, 12 1/2 inches long and 8 1/2 inches wide making it a large and impressive piece. As can be seen in the pictures, there are no cracks or nicks, all fingers, flowers and lace are intact on this outstanding piece of porcelain. On the base is the Carl Thieme backstamp and a number. This is a set of two antique 10 dinner plates by Rosenthal Bavaria Pickard. The plates feature a floral pattern with antique pheasants and flowers, hand-painted in an Art Nouveau style. They are made of porcelain with 22K gold gilding and were produced in the 1930s. The plates are round in shape and have a glossy finish. They are part of an eight-piece set and bear a painted backstamp.

You are purchasing a beautiful vintage German Dresden porcelain figurine of two parakeets (or parrots) perched on a branch with flowers. It is was made by Wilhelm Rittirsch and is very reminiscent of bird figurines by Karl Ens, see last photo. It is in amazing condition with no chips, cracks or breaks, see all photos. This stunning piece stands an 7 inches tall and approximately 9.5 inches long. They are both wearing ruffled lace dresses one in pink and one in cream. Both have tiny delicate applied porcelain flowers with leaves scattered throughout their dresses. They have lace necklines on their dresses. The one girl is wearing a bonnet and the the other girl has a lavender bow in her hair. They have PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED arms and fingers. The one girl is holding a beautiful tiny yellow bird. They are sitting in front of a tree with delicate applied porcelain tiny flowers and leaves. There is another tiny bird in the tree. This figurine is made of solid porcelain and porcelain lace. This piece has the Unterweissbach mark on the bottom of the base and lightly marked East Germany. It is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION! The only flaw I see is a small chip in the lace on the side bottom of the girl in white dress see pic 24. This piece has so many beautiful ruffles I personally cannot tell if there are any other chips but PLEASE review all of the pictures because they are part of the description and you can make your own decision. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This is a FABULOUS and STUNNING piece and a true artistic heirloom very RARE to find in such NEAR PERFECT CONDITION.
