There is one small rubbed area of the gold rim on the platter as pictured. According to Gaston’s book Limoges Porcelain, it was made in 1890 since the mark “Limoges, Depose” was used then and in 1891 it changed to “Limoges, France”. It was made by Laternier. The red overglaze mark indicates that it was factory decorated. The platter is 18.5″x11″ and 2.5 deep. The plates are 8.75 in diameter. One plate has been broken in half and glued together.
