Impressive Large Chinese Red Capped Porcelain Cranes MINT Condition. Stunning set of cranes with 4 character seal of the Fujian Club. The Fujuan Club or possibly the Fujian Guild was a workshop where workers from Fujian assembled. They were skilled in modeling figures and some rose to great fame. These stand 18 inches tall and around 6 towards base. No chips or cracks. These have been appraised by Sothebys so the asking price is very fair. Ive gone to estate sales for over 30 yrs and our youngest left the nest a few years ago and we downsized so Im parting with some things! Wonderful addition to anyones collection or home. This listing is for a beautiful VINTAGE retired Lladro Courting Cranes glazed Porcelain figurine by the Sculptor: Salvador Debon. Lladró is the leader in luxury porcelain since 1953 and have developed proprietary processes that resulted in a wide range of products and styles that is unparalleled in the world of porcelain. The brand still makes every piece in their workshop in Valencia, Spain. This intricate porcelain piece featuring two hand painted courting cranes standing on a base of handmade reeds and flowers. It was issued in C1989. Elegant and stylised, the cranes are the aristocracy of the bird kingdom, bringing beauty to the marshes and the lagoons of our countryside with their presence. Great for that special occasion gift, especially if they are a lover of nature or ornathologista sure eye pleasing treat if its to enhance your collection or home. MEASUREMENTS: 11″ Tall x 6 3/4″ Long x 3 5/8 Deep/Wide. CONDITION: Good condition apart from one leaf tip gone and two small petals of one flowersee magnified photos. Famille Rose Chinese Export Porcelain Cranes Pair 17 Exceptional Qing MINT

This lot contains a perfect pair of Chinese Famille Rose porcelain crane figures with impressed seals on the base of each one. My best estimate of age based on styles of the periods, materials, style and scale, is that these were likely made in the late part of the 19th or early part of the 20th century. They don’t often come up in pairs and almost never do you find them without some sort of damage or repair. These are exceptional in every way. These were made in a variety of styles, scales and color motifs. I quite prefer the more muted soft tones of these, reminiscent of Chinese “blanc de chine” pure white wears. The maker made no mistakes on this pair. Each measures 17 tall. Both are in pristine condition with no damages, no repairs and no alterations of any kind. I live in Montana where, often, in the early spring, if you find yourself in the countryside, you might catch a rare sighting of these beautiful cranes in muted tones sillouetted against the skyline at sunrise or sunset. These images come to mind when I view this lovely pair of birds. Please send a message if you should have any questions or need more information. I’ll gladly reply just as quickly as I can.
